I made some coconut bacon using this recipe from minimalist baker. I used smoked paprika and didn’t have as great of a result as I would have if I used liquid smoke. I highly suggest following her recipe for the best results!
For my grilled sandwich I spread some mayo on one side of two piece of bread, added some vegan mozzarella shreds and coconut bacon. I cooked the sandwich in a frying pan until it was toasted on both sides and then added lettuce and tomato right before eating it. I served it with some oven baked fries on the side.
