This recipe is barely a “recipe” but it has quickly become one of my favourite things to make in the mornings! Since it is winter and we are in a deep freeze I am finding it unappealing to have a smoothie like I normally do. But also, I kind of still hate oatmeal and can’t force myself to like it anymore! So sad. I either make fresh scones OR when I have less time, I make this! It’s not as *cold* as a smoothie but still gets in some yummy fruit & nutrients! Plus, it tastes amazing.
This recipe is inspired by the Vegan Breakfast Bowl on Poosh (Kourtney Kardashians brand) but I changed it up a bit based on what I had on hand. Watch the video on my instagram here!
Vegan Yogurt Breakfast Bowl
- Total Time: 5 minutes
- Yield: 1 serving
Creamy dairy-free yogurt topped with fresh fruit, nuts and a drizzle of maple syrup.
- 1 cup vegan yogurt (I use Riviera brand)
- 3 strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1–2 tbsp chopped pecans
- drizzle of maple syrup or agave
- Add everything to your bowl. Enjoy!
