Vegan Half-Baked Brownie Dip (gluten-free)

Getting some summer recipes underway with this super quick and yummy Vegan Half-Baked Brownie Dip which is also gluten-free! This dip is like eating brownie batter! It is so great for dipping fruit like apples or strawberries, pretzels, graham crackers, or even spreading on toast. It is so simple and easy to make, and takes only 5 minutes. It is perfect for summer because its a no-bake recipe so you don’t have to turn on your oven! But the best part is, I have been baking this dip in the air fryer to make mini air fryer brownies and they are also incredible so I’ll share a post on that soon!

Why you’ll love this Vegan Half-Baked Brownie Dip!

This is the perfect dip to make for a summer BBQ, potluck or movie night with friends. The base is nut butter (I use almond, feel free to use whatever nut or seed butter you buy) and some oat flour. Then we sweeten with maple syrup, add cocoa for that rich chocolate flavour, a dash of vanilla and pinch of salt, and you’ve got yourself a winner! I love adding some chopped chocolate or dairy-free chocolate chips for a little added crunch and extra chocolate goodness.

If there’s one recipe I have been so excited to share, it is this half-baked brownie dip! I have been making a personal size version most nights to have with strawberries OR to bake into an air fryer brownie. I just can’t get enough! Many of you have made it too since I posted the recipe on my Instagram story and I love seeing all your dip photos and how much you’re enjoying it!

The inspiration…

I was always one to eat the raw dough and batter when baking with my mom. Licking the brownie spoon? Yep. Eating more cookie dough than actual cookies? You know it. So this is right up my alley! And the best news is, it is actually safe to eat raw AND is slightly better for you with less refined ingredients. You really can’t go wrong with this extra chocolatey dip and I just know you’ll be making it all summer long!

Vegan Half-Baked Brownie Dip (gluten-free)

  • Author: Liv B
  • Total Time: 5 minutes

Description

Only 5 minutes to make, this half-baked brownie dip is like eating brownie batter!

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp nut butter
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp oat flour
  • Splash of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 12 tbsp nondairy milk
  • Optional: chopped chocolate or chocolate chips!

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the nut butter, maple syrup, cocoa powder, oat flour, vanilla and salt and mix. Add 1 tbsp nondairy milk and mix, if it’s still too thick, keep adding splashes of milk until you reach your desired consistency. For softer fruit like bananas or berries, a runnier dip is easier to work with! For apples, pretzels, graham crackers, etc the thicker consistency is great!
  2. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
  • Prep Time: 5 minutes

  1. This was sooooo good. As soon as I saw the teaser on Liv’s Instagram story I knew it would be delicious! I actually omitted the almond milk entirely because I prefer my dips thicc with 2 c’s, and it worked perfectly. Brining this to a picnic tomorrow!
