Pizza Rolls

Ingredients:

2 cups flour
2 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 cup vegan butter
3/4 cup non-dairy milk
pizza sauce
shredded cheese

Whisk together the flour, baking powder and sugar. Add the vegan butter and “cut” it with a fork to make a crumbly mixture. Slowly add the non-dairy milk and stir until he dough comes together. Knead it a couple times and then roll it out into a long rectangle. Make sure it is fairly thin. Add the pizza sauce and cheese, and then roll it up into a long log. Cut it into chunks and press down onto a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper or greased) and bake at 400F for 12-15 minutes until slightly golden on the top and bottom and firm to the touch.

  1. Recently stumbled across this video and made the pizza rolls earlier today – so simple and delicious! I used 100% whole wheat flour and kept other proportions the same, so my dough was ever so slightly dry but still able to roll out. Thanks for such a great recipe idea!
