Community Goods Breakfast Sliders have been one of my favourite new trends on TikTok. I love a good breakfast sandwich, like this Vegan Inside-Out Bagel Bread Breakfast Sandwich or Vegan Breakfast Double Down Sandwich! So when I saw these trending online, I had to make a veganized version.

My vegan Community Goods breakfast sliders are loaded with vegan bacon, JustEgg (or use my Homemade JustEgg Mix!), avocado, and vegan cheese all stuffed inside vegan dinner rolls or vegan Hawaiian rolls.

And of course, you know I had to make not one but two amazing sauces to dip these vegan sliders in. You definitely need to try this recipe with my homemade vegan chive aioli and hot sauce. The combination is amazing.

Why You’ll Love These Vegan Community Goods Breakfast Sliders

  • Comes together quickly. You probably don’t have a ton of time in the morning to be fussing around in the kitchen. Luckily you can still make an incredible breakfast with these vegan sliders in under a half hour.
  • So much flavour. These vegan Community Goods sliders are so flavourful and delicious. They’re cheesy, meaty, eggy, and all completely plant based and free of any animal products so you can take part in this viral trend without compromising your values.
  • So easy to make. You don’t need to be a masterchef to throw together these amazing vegan breakfast sandwiches. Just heat some stuff up on the stove, whiz up the sauce in the blender, and put it all together.

Key Ingredients and Substitutions

Vegan Sliders

  • Vegan Dinner Rolls or Vegan Hawaiian Rolls: Use whatever vegan rolls you can find. If you can’t find any, you could definitely use vegan bagels or toast.
  • Avocado: Creamy and necessary!
  • Vegan Store Bought Bacon: Use a brand of vegan bacon you know you enjoy for this recipe.
  • Pure Maple Syrup: You can also substitute my vegan honey, or use agave syrup.
  • JustEgg: Use store bought carton JustEgg or use 1 batch of my Homemade JustEgg Mix!
  • Vegan Butter: For frying everything.
  • Sliced Vegan Mozzarella or Cheddar: For that cheesy goodness in our vegan breakfast sandwiches.

Chive Aioli

  • Raw Cashews: This is the creamy base of the sauce! If you can’t have cashews, raw sunflower seeds also work.
  • Fresh Chives: Use ⅓ the amount of dried chives (so two teaspoons dried chives, in this case) if you don’t have fresh.
  • Salt: To taste.
  • Garlic Powder: For a nice flavour.
  • Nutritional Yeast: Adds a little extra savory flavour.
  • Unsweetened Soy Milk: Or use any unsweetened, unflavoured non-dairy milk.

Hot Sauce

  • Frank’s Red Hot Sauce: Or use any hot sauce you like.
  • Homemade Vegan Honey or Agave: A little sweet for that heat!
  • Sriracha: Again, use whatever hot sauce you enjoy.

How to Make Vegan Community Goods Breakfast Sliders

  1. Make the hot sauce: Mix hot sauce ingredients in a small bowl until combined and set aside.
  2. Make the chive aioli: In a blender, add all chive aioli ingredients and combine until smooth. Set aside.
  3. Make the cheesy vegan eggs: Add JustEgg or homemade egg mix to a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk until desired egg consistency. Add vegan cheese on top and cover to melt. When done, remove the lid and set aside.
  4. Cook the vegan bacon: Meanwhile in a separate pan, heat the vegan bacon. When the pan is hot, add maple syrup and fry for 2 minutes, flipping halfway until bacon is coated and candied. Be careful not to overcook. Set aside.
  5. Assemble: In another buttered pan, add top and bottom of sliced rolls and cover. Fry until almost golden and steamed before adding a layer of vegan egg, bacon and avocado to the bottom bun. Close over the top bun and fry another 1-2 minutes until heated.
  6. Serve: Remove from heat and enjoy your vegan Community Goods breakfast sliders with sauces for dipping on the side.

Ideas for Serving

These vegan breakfast sandwiches are perfect for an easy breakfast or or fancy brunch, though you could really serve them any time of the day.

Try serving these vegan sliders with any of the following: Vegan Hash Browns or Air Fryer Potatoes, Fancy Vegan French Toast, or High Protein Vegan Tofu Scramble. Also great with fresh fruit!

And don’t forget the coffee—try Vegan Chocolate Cream Cold Brew, Vegan Salted Caramel Honeycomb Frappe, or Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso Copycat.

How to Store

Vegan community goods breakfast sliders are best eaten immediately after cooking. Unfortunately avocado browns pretty quickly and the delicate rolls could get a little soggy in the fridge.

If you do have leftovers, let them cool fully and store in an airtight container. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat.

The dipping sauces will keep well in airtight containers in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Recipe FAQs

Do these taste like Community Goods breakfast sliders?

I think they taste better! They’re decadent, cheesy, meaty, eggy, and delicious just like the Community Goods sliders, but they’re totally vegan and cruelty free.

What if I can’t find vegan bacon?

Replace the vegan bacon with any type of vegan meat you like such as vegan sausage patties.

What can I use instead of JustEgg?

You can make my Homemade JustEgg Mix OR try throwing my High Protein Vegan Tofu Scramble in there. It might be a little more messy, but still totally delicious.
